Community Well-Being event with free medicine giveaway with NC Med Assist, resources, food
PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Pitt County Public Health will host a Family Health Block Party on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pitt County Office Park located at 201 Government Circle, Greenville.
The Pitt County Health Department has partnered with NC Med Assist to offer a free over-the-counter (OTC) medicine giveaway for community members. The Family Health Block Party will be a fun event for participants who can receive free OTC medications, learn about Health Department services and connect with resources from community partners.
The first 100 people will receive a $5.00 voucher to use for the Ripe for Revival Bus, a mobile market offering fresh and local food items.
This collaborative effort aims to improve the health of Pitt County residents, offer free OTC medications and explore a variety of health services and programs available in the community.

This community well-being event will give residents an opportunity to see the Health Department’s mission in action while connecting with resources that can empower individuals and families.
