Chinese, Western, and Japanese Cuisine Tailored to the Diverse Dining Needs of Hotel Guests

MINATO-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Established in 1948, Shiba Park Hotel (operated by Shiba Park Hotel Co., Ltd.; Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Noriyoshi Tanaka) houses more than 2,000 books throughout the hotel under the concept of “A Library Hotel that Connects People, Towns, and History.” The first-floor hotel restaurant, The Dining, extends this concept into the dining experience, offering all-day dining where “a story quietly accompanies you.”

An All-Day Multi-Cuisine Restaurant Offering Chinese, Western, and Japanese Cuisine in One Setting

At The Dining, guests can enjoy dishes from Chinese Cuisine Peking, Western Cuisine Primula, Japanese Cuisine Hanasanshou, all within a single restaurant.

Guests can choose whichever cuisine suits their mood that day, while diners at the same table can order different styles of cuisine. For example, one guest may enjoy a Japanese course while another chooses a Western course.

Even when family members or friends have different preferences, each person can choose the cuisine they want while sharing the same table, creating an enjoyable and fulfilling dining experience together.

A Collection of Books Where “A Story Quietly Accompanies You”

As a restaurant within a Library Hotel, The Dining also features bookshelves. Guests can encounter books while enjoying a meal or drink, creating an atmosphere where opening a book can spark new conversations and add a lingering sense of discovery to the dining experience.

The Dining is a place where guests from different countries and backgrounds, visiting for a variety of purposes, come together and share the same moment. In keeping with an environment where diverse cultures coexist and different elements resonate with one another to create beauty, the restaurant features books that offer perspectives on diverse food cultures.

The more than 2,000 books throughout the hotel are freely available for guests to pick up and read. Guests can enjoy a uniquely Shiba Park Hotel experience in which dining and reading naturally complement one another.

Featured Menus

The Dining offers an In-house Guest Menu exclusively for hotel guests. Featuring Chinese, Western, and Japanese selections, this dinner menu allows guests to choose according to their mood and preferences for the day.

After a full day of sightseeing or work, guests can relax and enjoy dinner without having to leave the hotel. Whether they are looking for a satisfying evening meal or simply a convenient dining option during their stay, the menu provides a flexible choice designed specifically for hotel guests.

For guests seeking vegan options, The Dining also offers a dedicated vegan course during dinner. Carefully selected plant-based ingredients are prepared using Chinese, Western, and Japanese culinary techniques, with close attention paid to color, aroma, and texture. The dishes highlight the natural beauty and rich flavors of the ingredients, creating a dining experience designed to delight all five senses.

Sustainable and mindful of well-being, the course can be enjoyed not only by vegan guests but also by those looking to expand their culinary choices.

In the morning, guests can start the day with the sustainable PARK BREAKFAST. Lunch and afternoon tea are available during the day, while the In-house Guest Menu and vegan course are offered in the evening.

From breakfast through dinner, The Dining provides dining options suited to guests’ individual travel purposes and daily schedules. Even when dining preferences differ, guests can choose dishes that suit their individual tastes while enjoying their meals together at the same table.
