Annual Black-Tie Fundraiser and Industry-Wide Giving Campaign Aims to Raise Critical Funds to Fight Hunger Across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia

ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, August 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Atlanta Apartment Association, one of the largest local apartment associations in the nation representing more than 1,100 member companies and over 540,000 apartment homes across the metro Atlanta region, is proud to announce the return of the Can Can Ball, the city’s premier multifamily philanthropic event, on Friday, October 16, 2026. Benefiting the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the annual black-tie gala brings together hundreds of apartment industry professionals, suppliers, partners, and community leaders in support of a shared mission: ending hunger in our communities.

Now entering its fourth decade, the Can Can Ball has become one of Atlanta’s most anticipated charitable events, raising millions of dollars to help provide meals for families experiencing food insecurity across metro Atlanta and North Georgia.

The 2026 Can Can Ball will take place at Zoo Atlanta’s Savanna Hall, one of Georgia’s most beloved attractions and a global leader in wildlife conservation, education, and animal care. Nestled in the heart of Atlanta’s historic Grant Park, Zoo Atlanta is home to animals from around the world and will provide a truly unforgettable backdrop for an evening dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local families. Can Can Ball attendees will also have access to the terrace, where illuminated animal habitats and nighttime feedings will provide a truly one-of-a-kind Atlanta backdrop for the evening.

This year’s fundraising campaign will kick off with a series of community events leading up to the Can Can Ball, including:

Can Can Poker Tournament – Friday, August 21, 2026 at Cumberland Maggiano’s

Can Can Sip-N-Stroll – Saturday, September 19, 2026 on the Atlanta BeltLine

Can Can Ball - Friday, October 16, 2026 at Zoo Atlanta
