Gunnison County Community Cookout - August 21

As a small way of saying thank you, Gunnison County is inviting everyone to our County Community Cookout on Friday, August 21, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the grassy area between Blackstock and O'Leary in downtown Gunnison. The first 500 attendees will enjoy free burgers from CC's or free BBQ ribs from Jermaine's along with free ice cream and soda/water. Beer and wine will be available for just $2. Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon of fun, including Touch-a-Truck, face painting, bouncy houses, balloon tosses, and music from DJ Skyler Matthias.

 More than just a celebration, the cookout is also an opportunity to connect with your local government. County Commissioners and staff will be on hand to visit with residents, answer questions, and share updates on important initiatives shaping our community. Learn more about the Roads & Bridges Initiative, the Gunnison to Mt. Crested Butte Corridor Plan, Emergency Services, Health & Human Services programs, and other projects that impact our county's future.
